Coastal Paws Pet lodge is your pets home away from home!! We strive to make your pet feel welcomed and loved as if he was at home with you!! We have 22 indoor lodging with 16 of them having private outdoor runs, 3 of them are extra large for dogs of great size or if a family has multiple pets.

Coastal Paws Pet Lodge is a state-of-the-art facility in Matagorda County. Situated on almost 5 acres, we strive to be your full service pet care establishment, providing spacious dog and cat boarding, professional all breed grooming and in the near future training programs. Are facility is climate controlled through-out the entire building. Our popular indoor/outdoor private lodges provide even more room and activity. Each lodge contains their very own raised Kuranda bed with a blanket. We also have the best staff to care for your four legged kids. Meet them below!

Allison Coleman

Owner/Manager

Allison has over 18 years of experience in the animal health industry, having graduated from Murray State University; with a Bachelor’s of Science in Agriculture with emphasis in Animal Health. This degree allowed her to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2003. This allowed her to work for a 7 doctor practice as well as become a resident veterinary technician for a major Thoroughbred farm in Lexington, KY. Winstar Farm, who just recently won the Triple Crown with Justify. She has also worked for small animal clinic, with the most recent being Bay City Veterinary and Equine Hospital. She will continue to work there on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You will also see her highly energetic children helping where help is needed. Isabel (11) and Genevieve (8) their number one concern will be making sure your pet gets enough hugs, laughter and playtime!

She is born and raised a Black Cat!!! She will see the day to day operations and accounts management.
